Notification about the Exposure in Dubai, UAE

We, GS Yuasa Corporation hereby informs that our representative in Dubai conducted the exposure on Jan 13th, 2013.
The details are as follows.

1. Date: 13th January, 2013
2. Location: Dubai, UAE
3. Charge: Selling counterfeit “YUASA” brand battery
4. Result: 4,173 pcs of counterfeit batteries were seized

We make the market survey on a daily basis whether or not the counterfeit batteries are floating around. This time, we found the counterfeit batteries in Dubai, and reported Department of Economic Development in Dubai (DED) to seize them.
DED handled this inspection and seized the counterfeit batteries. They also warned the distributor of them not to use the counterfeit “YUASA” brand for their operation.

We, GS Yuasa Group, do not allow to sell the counterfeit batteries, and kindly ask you to have your attention not to purchase counterfeit “YUASA” brand batteries. Also if you find the batteries which is suspicious to fake, please inform us as follows,
